For example, when the government proposes certain fiscal, credit policies, <a href=\"https:\/\/mundanopedia.com\/economics\/microeconomics\/monopoly-in-economics\/\">antitrust law<\/a>, etc.<\/p><p>The most common economic policies are those that pursue the following goals:<\/p><p><strong>A high level of employment:<\/strong> The solution may be a necessary stimulus for an increase in production.<br \/><strong>Price stability:<\/strong> It’s the creation of rules or laws that allow security for both production and consumers.<br \/><strong>Fair and equitable distribution of national income<\/strong>.<br \/><strong>Maintain or increase the gross domestic product.<\/strong> Which is achieved through a good production process.<br \/><strong>Economic development<\/strong>: Improves the quality of life of the inhabitants of a nation and corrects market errors.<\/p><h2><strong>Types of economic policies<\/strong><\/h2><ul><li><strong>Monetary policies.<\/strong> They are measures aimed at guaranteeing the value of the <a href=\"https:\/\/mundanopedia.com\/economics\/macroeconomics\/money\/\">currency <\/a>and its appropriate liquidity, some examples are the modification of the legal reserve of commercial banks and the issuance of currency or money supply.<\/li><li><strong>Fiscal policies<\/strong>. They are the polices that focus on the government, its resources and their management, and it includes public spending and taxes.<\/li><\/ul><h2><strong>The most applied economic policies<\/strong><\/h2><p>The most applied economic policies today are aimed at solving the following problems:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Achieve price stability<\/strong>: It consists of achieving a balanced and appropriate price for both producers and consumers.<\/li><li><strong>Improve net in the effectiveness of the production process to achieve GDP growth.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Economic development<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/mundanopedia.com\/economics\/macroeconomics\/economic-development\/\">Economic development<\/a> makes it possible to improve living standards, correcting errors in the system and reinforcing what is already being done well.<\/li><li><strong>Fair and equitable distribution of national income. <\/strong>This is about the <a href=\"https:\/\/mundanopedia.com\/economics\/macroeconomics\/national-income\/\">national income<\/a>, being managed so that development can be achieved for all sectors of the economy and social classes.<\/li><li><strong>Improvement of employment levels<\/strong>.
